Thanks, Dom. I agree.
It's a bargain and the atmosphere is more relaxed than many races. Do not forget that the races also form part of our Short Course Championship. The relay at the end of the series is good fun as well. Seriously, did I say 'fun'? Do not let this put you off.

Good point Mike, the Croups seem to neglect the relay, it tends to be Ponty and us who put in 5 teams, hoping for better this time :-)

Dominic (member of mixed sex team record holders) . . . . well OK that may have been down to Steve and Angela being my teammates

Please note : The first event (the Two Miler), clashes with our proposed Dinner, Dance / Presentation night.

Great series I agree. Don't let the potential clash for the 1st race put you off. Do the race, quick shower (please) and then over to the dinner dance. You'll enjoy the evening's proceedings even more after a quick blast around the park 1st. I did this one year and it was great - the beer did feel a bit stronger than usu mind..

I think that's a great way to begin a night out...reminds me of me student days! Couple of times around Roath Park lake and I'd be p**sed after my first pint of snakebite and black. Oh happy days!

Snakebite and black?...Classy!! The black took away 'the bite' I thought though....
