I know that you all enjoy being involved in Relay events for the Club, and below are dates for our most popular and well supported Relay events, please make a note of them. If you are interested and available for any of them can you please let Yvonne or Liz know.

Saturday 17th April       National 6 Stage Road Relays       Sutton Park, Birmingham

The Club Running version of the FA Cup. This is a week before the London Marathon, so the perfect chance to sharpen up before hand.

Saturday 15th May        National Masters Road Relays         Sutton Park, Birmingham

For those of you over the age of 35. We would like to send a full quota of teams to this event so please support it. The Age Groups are: 35-44 ; 45-54; 55+

Sat/Sun 12th/13th June      Welsh Castles Relays

20 Stages over 2 days, 10 Saturday and 10 Sunday. The length of the stage varies from 8.6 miles to 13.3 miles, there are 6 Mountain stages (3 each day). Run as 20 mini races and the times for each stage added together to find the total time.

Wednesday 14th July       Cosmeston Relays              Cosmeston Park, Penarth

This is an off road event which is a Fig 8 course around Cosmeston, the teams are made up of 3 runners each running 3 miles. This is a popular event with the club and we normally enter several teams.

Saturday 16th October       National 4 Stage Road Relays       Sutton Park, Birmingham

This is another big event for the club to be involved in. It is a similar course to the 6 stage but not quite the same. We missed this in 2009, but we want to be there in 2010.
