Possibles?

As we're already in the second month of the new year I thought I'd venture a few social ideas.

  1. Another quiz. I have one ready prepared for either a Thursday (or other) night possibly nearer Easter? Either at the Club or at a separate venue for a change?
  2. Another treasure hunt when the evenings get lighter. Was thinking of doing one down the Bay area this time?
  3. A little different but a social/fitness idea. I know a yoga teacher who could do a one off taster Iyengar session for those who are interested. It'd be an introductory event for those who've been tempted but never felt brave enough. Great for core stability.

Thoughts?

All great ideas, Matt. I really enjoyed the treasure hunt last year, and wish more members would support events after so much work and thought has clearly gone in to them. For that reason, I think a quiz on a Thursday at the club is the best idea - you've got a ready made audience and they are very inclusive.

No idea what it is, but Iyengar yoga gets my vote.

\Well done Matt !

PS Yogis don't expect gifts when its their birthday - they already have presence...

On second thoughts, can we do all three ?

(at the same time...)

Sorry I missed the last treasure hunt. Could you do one with clues in pubs - so it would be a sort of pub quiz / street orienteering. Great way of combining my favourite pastimes.

Good ideas, although I wasn't brave enough for the yoga. I'd be up for a a treasure hunt/street orienteering event, one or two clues in pubs could work, any more than that and it could be a long nigh, hahaha.
